Godinne
Built over a century ago, the Godinne complex is a boarding school inspired by the style of English colleges. It represents one of the earliest examples of concrete construction in Belgium. While the overall structure is characterized by its austerity, the original wooden window frames provide a contrast through their fine woodwork.
BC is involved in the renovation and insulation of the building envelope of the pavilion and the theatre. This process includes the cleaning and restoration of the existing facades as well as insulating the roof areas. To improve thermal performance, the windows will be replaced with replicas featuring double glazing, ensuring the preservation of the original look.
